Hello, I’m Hilary Crundwell! Home for me is with my husband in the delightful village of Groombridge which straddles the Kent and Sussex border. It’s near the thriving town of Tunbridge Wells where I work alongside Karen Martin at the Hypnotherapy Kent practice at Salomons Estate.
My journey to Cognitive Hypnotherapy
This began after the tragic death of my son. He was a Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery Reserves and served in Iraq the year before he decided to end his life. Although it is possible that this had no bearing on his experiences in Iraq, it focused my attention on the people who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress and depression, particularly service men and women.
Losing my son was almost impossible for me to deal with and my road to recovery finally led me to take stock of my life. I realised that I really wanted to help people and began with Reiki and Reflexology. However, I wanted to do more.
I discovered Cognitive Hypnotherapy and took a diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy (HPD) which is externally verified by the National Council of Hypnotherapy and also became a certified NLP practitioner. I was very privileged to be taught by Trevor Silvester the founder of the Quest institute and Cognitive Hypnotherapy and author of many books. My passion is now driving me to study to become A Master Practitioner in Cognitive Hypnotherapy.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy has really helped me let go of old beliefs and has allowed me to move forward with my life. It gives me enormous satisfaction helping others cope with their anxieties, fears and problems.
